Use multiple web applications at the same time, from a single, customizable interface, and keep track of all your notifications easily
A Guide to Native LAMP Stack in Mac OS X. Are you using MAMP Pro for web development? Has it ever caused you to drink heavily while simultaneously banging your head against the keyboard? Follow this guide, and you will never have to experience the horror that is the MAMP stack again! Don’t get us wrong – MAMP was great for a while. As @Aaron and @Vince said in the comments, no ArcGIS does not run on Mac OS X without some variation of Parallels/BootCamp. For further details see the link that @Aaron shared about current system requirements for ArcGIS Desktop (10.7.x) or the link that @Vince shared about running ArcPro on a Mac.
Browsers seem to be doing a lot more than they were originally intended for, as there are now a multitude of web apps that we have to manage on a daily basis. Some browsers allow you to place them in separate web panels, thus reducing the number of tabs you need to juggle, but it’s still not an ideal solution.
Stack was designed to bring all your web apps together in one UI, as well as allow you to use more than one of them at the same time. They can be organized in multiple ways, and it enables you to keep track of all your notifications from a single app.
Use multiple web apps in a split screen view
Probably the best thing about Stack is that it facilitates multitasking, enabling you to view two, three or more apps on one screen at the same time. Since these are usually the mobile versions of popular websites, they are quite easy to fit into a single window.
Their layout is fully customizable, as you can both decide how many of them are visible at once and how large each panel should be. Multiple app pages can be created, and you can switch between them from the sidebar.
Organize your apps and never miss anything important

Each Stack page consists of multiple web apps arranged in a row. It’s up to you how many you want to add, but it is probably best to just create a new page if there are too many to view at once. The icons in the sidebar make it easy to remember where your apps are, and you can switch to a new page with a single click.
However, it is currently not possible to reorder apps once they have been added, which can lead to you having to remove several of them just to change their layout. Fortunately, this feature seems to be in the works.
Notifications for each of your web apps are displayed in the sidebar, and you can also see how many notifications require your attention from the app’s Dock badge.
Promising idea for managing your web apps
While it clearly still needs a bit of work when it comes to organizing apps once they have been added, Stack does a wonderful job of reducing clutter in your web browser. It allows you to multitask via a split screen view and simplifies your online experience by bringing all your web apps under one roof.
